Grants from £100,000 to support long-term solutions that improve financial resilience across the UK.
The Aviva Foundation’s Financial Futures Fund supports organisations developing ambitious, long-term solutions to help people feel more financially secure, confident and in control of their futures. Up to £3 million is available annually through two funding rounds.
The fund supports projects that build financial confidence and money management skills, improve access to fair and affordable financial services, help people overcome financial hardship and address wider barriers such as debt, housing insecurity and digital exclusion.
Priority is given to community-rooted initiatives that support people experiencing financial disadvantage, demonstrate measurable impact and have the potential to create lasting change. The Foundation is particularly interested in organisations willing to share learning and influence wider practice.
The minimum grant is £100,000, with no upper limit. Most awards are expected to be between £250,000 and £300,000, typically spread over three years.
Applications are welcomed from UK-registered charitable and non-profit organisations and social enterprises with an annual income of £1 million or more. CICs delivering public benefit may be eligible, subject to meeting the published criteria.
The fund is aimed at organisations delivering transformational work rather than short-term projects focused solely on immediate financial relief.
Deadline: Wednesday 7 October 2026.
There is a two-stage application process. Organisations initially submit a short application form, with shortlisted applicants invited to an interview with the Advisory Panel.
Interested organisations should contact the Foundation to request the application form and discuss their proposal.
Demonstrate how your project will address the underlying causes of financial insecurity rather than simply responding to immediate hardship. Strong applications will show evidence of need, meaningful community involvement, measurable outcomes and the potential to create sustainable improvements in people’s financial wellbeing.
