Arts Council England – Music Growth Fund

Arts Council England’s new Music Growth Fund forms part of the Government’s £45 million Music Growth Package, designed to strengthen England’s music industry by supporting artists, music businesses and the organisations that help develop musical talent.

The fund aims to support projects that help develop artists and music professionals, strengthen the grassroots music sector, build audiences, encourage innovation, and increase opportunities for UK music nationally and internationally. Support is available for activities that grow talent, strengthen infrastructure and create sustainable careers in music.

Applications are expected from not-for-profit organisations, music businesses and other eligible organisations working within England’s music sector. Specific eligibility varies between funding strands, and CICs may be eligible where they meet the programme criteria.

Funding is available through a number of strands, with grants ranging from small awards to £100,000 for larger sector organisations delivering high-impact programmes.

The Music Growth Package is opening in summer 2026, with individual funding strands announcing their own application windows.

Applicants should review the relevant funding strand on the Arts Council England website before applying through the online grants portal.

Projects that demonstrate clear industry impact, collaboration, artist development and long-term sustainability are likely to be the strongest candidates. Partnerships that help diversify the music sector and create progression opportunities are particularly encouraged
