Small grants – King Charles III Charitable Fund

£5k scheme provides small grants to support independent UK registered non-for-profit organisations for grassroots, community-based projects that fall within its core funding themes:

  • Heritage and conservation (conservation, restoration projects at places of worship, community buildings)
  • Education (education projects including for people with SEN)
  • Health and wellbeing (support health and wellbeing, people with disabilities , young carers, therapies)
  • Social inclusion – relieve poverty, loneliness and other social issues)
  • Environment (environmental projects, economic sustainability initiatives and conservation)
  • Countryside (projects that transform improve living conditions in rural communities)

 

Applications are accepted from UK registered not-for-profit organisations, including charities, community interest companies and parish councils, that have an annual income of up to £1 million; Completed at least two years of activity; less than six months of free reserves.

The next application round is open 31 July to 14 August 2024 for projects/activities across the education and heritage and conservation funding themes.

In 2024/25, the small grants programme will open for applications as follows:

  • May: environment and countryside funding themes.
  • August: education and heritage and conservation funding themes.
  • February: social inclusion and health and wellbeing funding themes.
