I recently attended a training session on major donors – 1 statistic that struck me was that for those giving over £1million (in UK) 45% goes to Universities, 22% to international development, the rest were all under 5%. How universities manage their relationships with donors so well gives us food for thought and I think there is a lot charities can learn from them……..
