Crowdfunding is a fast growing method through which money can be raised to finance a project or, business start up. Online ‘platforms’ allow thousands of people to directly fund project and business causes, cutting out intermediary bodies and allowing the owner of the project/ business to appeal directly to potential funders.

This half day course will provide an introduction to Crowdfunding, explaining the process and models that are used.

The session will cover:
