The Sheila Coates Foundation (SCF) is offering grants of up to £5,000 to mainstream secondary schools and colleges in England to support innovative projects that enhance the educational experiences of autistic students.
Eligible projects should be co-produced with autistic students and aim to provide support beyond statutory requirements. Examples include creating safe spaces, implementing tailored interventions, or developing resources that promote inclusion and well-being.
The application process involves an initial eligibility questionnaire, followed by an online application form. Applicants are encouraged to clearly articulate the project’s objectives, the involvement of autistic students, and the anticipated outcomes.
While the exact dates for the Autumn 2025 funding round are yet to be announced, interested institutions should monitor the SCF website for updates and be prepared to submit applications promptly once the round opens.
