MSE Charity, the charitable fund of financial advice website MoneySavingExpert.com, offers grant support for charities, self-help groups, and other community organisations to enable them to educate people across the UK about problems relating to consumer debt.
The MSE Charity is in a period of strategic review and normal grant giving has been put on hold. Instead the Charity is running an Innovation Round which is open to applications with a deadline of 10 June 2016 (5pm).
Innovation Round
For this Round funding is available for applications that deliver financial capability. This means improving people’s ability to manage their financial situation and developing their financial skills and knowledge.
Applications must be innovative, testing out ideas that are genuinely new; that as far as possible do not overlap with projects funded by other funders.
Grants of between £2,000 and £15,000 are available for projects that are likely to be completed in one year; however applications for up to three years will be considered.
Not-for-profit constituted groups/organisations within the UK that are previous applicants or existing grant holders are eligible to apply for this round.
Application forms are available to download (initial short expression of interest) from the website and should be submitted by email to
in**@ms********.com
The MSE Charity will consider full project cost recovery, but costs must only relate to the project itself and not the organisation’s core funding.
