Hub Cymru Africa have announced that their latest grants round are open until midday (12pm) on the 4th of April 2016.
What’s available?
A £180,000 combined small grants scheme, including £50,000 ring-fenced for health, which will enable groups throughout Wales to access funding for small-scale Wales-Africa projects.
The grants categories will remain the same as the previous round with grants of up to £1000, up to £5000 and up to £15000 available.
The thematic areas of Sustainable Livelihoods, Lifelong Learning, Health and Well-being and Climate Change and the Environment will also remain the same.
They aim to disperse funds by the end of May 2016, agreed the details with successful partners and processed the payments. Please note this means that they will not fund expenditure incurred before 1 June 2016.
The programme supports a vibrant community of volunteers, professionals, campaigners, students, academics and campaigners across Wales.

Webinars – a new way to speak to the grants team
The Hub Cymru Africa team will be hosting a series of webinars so that grants applicants from all over Wales will have the opportunity to speak to staff and ask questions about the funding.
