Greggs the bakers has set up a grants scheme used from the proceeds of the 5p levy on carrier bags. This environmentally focused grants scheme aims to make a difference to people in need at the heart of their local communities, by improving the environment in which they live.
Small grants of up to £2,000 are available. This programme is a pilot and the outcomes will be reviewed at the end of six months to ensure the programme achieves the desired level of impact.
