Community Grants are aimed at assisting and supporting the development of smaller local charitable organisations which deliver services directly to beneficiaries.  While there is no minimum or maximum size requirement for the organisation, it is likely to have an income/expenditure of between £100,000 – £500,000 per annum and have been in operation for at least 3 years. the main areas of interest are:

• Young Person’s Wellbeing
• Elderly Services
• Education and Training
• Health
• Carer’s Support
• Mental Health
• Child / Family Support

Grant Size: £5,000 – £15,000 (NB they also have a Major and Minor Grants programme)

Length:  One Year

Deadlines: None

Decision Timescale: usually 6 weeks from receipt of application

Organisation Type:  Registered Charities

Location of Work: Based in and operating in the North West
