The A B Charitable Trust (ABCT) The Trust aims to support charities that defend human rights and promote respect for vulnerable individuals whatever their circumstances.

ABCT supports charities working where human dignity is imperilled and where there are opportunities for human dignity to be affirmed.

Applications are particularly welcomed from charities working to support:

Refugees and asylum seekers.
Prisoners and penal reform.
Human rights.
ABCT is particularly interested in charities that seek to address the needs of the most marginalised and neglected groups in society.

Funding is available for project costs and core costs. Grants range in size, with most grants awarded being in the range of £7,500 to £10,000.

2014/15 deadlines: 12 September 2014; 5 December 2014; 6 March 2015; and 22 May 2015.
