Active Communities – Health Lottery

Active Communities is a funding programme for community groups and not-for-profit organisations, with an income of less than £350,000 a year, that are seeking investment of between £5,000 and £50,000 for projects lasting up to two years. The projects should take place within a small area for a small group of people such as 20 or 30 streets or a couple of villages.

Active Communities is currently open in the following areas:

HealthKind – Scottish Highlands and Islands (application deadline – 30 April, 1:00pm)

HealthGift – Mid Scotland and Fife (application deadline – 23 April, 1:00pm

HealthWisdom – Lambeth, Southwark, Bromley, Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley (application deadline – 30 April, 1:00pm)

HealthForm – Manchester, Stockport, Trafford, Salford (application deadline – 14 May, 1:00pm)

Active Communities is opening soon in the following areas:

HealthFit – Liverpool, Sefton, Wirral, Knowsley, St Helens (opening – 23 April, 1:00pm)

HealthThrive – Coventry, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire (opening – 30 April, 1:00pm)

HealthImprove – County Durham, Stockton on Tees, Redcar, Cleveland, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Hartlepool (opening – 14 May, 1:00pm)

HealthCommit – Cambridgeshire and Peterborough (opening – 21 May, 1:00pm)

HealthFair – Staffordshire, Shropshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford and Wrekin (opening – 28 May, 1:00pm)
