Good Morning,
Please could you tell me if there is an application form to apply for a grant from yourselves or do I just apply in writing?
Deafconnect is a small charity supporting Deaf and hard of hearing people in Northamptonshire. There is currently no other provision for our Deaf community as the Councils have cut their funding to us. We offer holistic support to our clients with all of the challenges that face them from birth until death.
We have lived experience of Deaf peoples struggles as 4 of our 7 staff are Deaf themselves. All 7 of us use BSL so are able to communicate with our clients easily.
We would very much like to carry on our work and do raise our own funds by way of an interpreting service room hire and fundraising events but we are struggling in the current financial climate to raise enough ourselves to make the impact we would like to.
I very much look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards
Jenni
