Internet Fundraising – 18th September
An introduction to fundraising using the internet. This session will explain the many ways in which the internet can be used as a fundraising tool, from online donations, to shopping to advertising and more. It will show how effective the internet can be as a means at connecting with donors / supporters and using these connections to spread the news about your work. It will look briefly at the different ways of communicating with supporters online (email, twitter, facebook blogs etc) and help you plan your online fundraising campaigns.

Introduction to Crowdfunding – 16th October
Crowdfunding is a fast growing method through which money can be raised to finance a project or, business start up. Online ‘platforms’ allow thousands of people to directly fund project and business causes, cutting out intermediary bodies and allowing the owner of the project/ business to appeal directly to potential funders.
