- Advancing people’s physical and mental health and wellbeing through financial support of charities, not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises, which are delivering access, recreational and educational opportunities within and about the countryside.
- To promote and encourage education in sustainable farming, food production and rural land management.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available, and applications will be accepted from small and medium-sized charities and not-for-profit organisations such as Community Interest Companies based in England and Wales.
To be eligible, applicants must have a current safeguarding policy and must not have received a grant from CLACT in the previous three years.
Applications are particularly welcomed for projects for children and young people, disadvantaged financially, physically, mentally, or from areas of deprivation.
Priority is given to smaller organisations with a turnover of less than £1.5 million. Larger organisations may still apply but are less likely to be successful
