Benefact Trust’s Community Impact Grants empower Christian charities and churches across the UK and Ireland to create truly transformative community projects. Whether you’re tackling homelessness, addressing local poverty or mental health, unlocking the wider use of church buildings, or enriching school and worship spaces—the programme supports both capital and revenue costs for new or expanded work.

Decision-making thresholds based on grant size:

• Up to £10,000: Approved by the Head of Grants and Trust Director.
• Over £10,000 and up to £150,000: Reviewed by the Grants Committee and approved by the Trust Director.
• Over £150,000: Requires full Board approval, with Trust Director sign-off

Applicants must have at least 30% of their project costs secured upfront, ensuring commitment and viability.

Applications are open year-round, with typical decision times of 2 months for small grants, and 4–6 months for larger ones
