Fight for Sight – Digital Inclusion Fund

Fight for Sight is a UK charity dedicated to improving outcomes for people with blindness or vision impairment, including through social change funding.


The Digital Inclusion Fund supports projects that help blind and vision‑impaired people access employment by improving digital skills, technology access and career pathways. Focus areas include getting ready for work, applying for jobs, job retention and progression, and tech/digital support careers.

Exclusions & if they fund CICs
Eligible applicants include UK‑registered charities, CIOs, charitable companies limited by guarantee, CICs (limited by guarantee) and exempt charities.


Applications open 3 November 2025 and the deadline is midday 6 January 2026. Decisions are expected in the week of 16 February 2026.

Application process
Applicants register an online account, complete the portal submission including project outline and budget, eligibility checks are done, shortlisted proposals reviewed by a panel of experts by experience, then final decisions made by the Grants & Impact Committee.

Any specific tips to apply
• Emphasise how your proposal directly helps blind/vision‑impaired people overcome digital barriers to employment.
• Include measurable outcomes (e.g., number securing jobs, number achieving digital qualification).
• Show how you incorporate “expert by experience” leadership or peer support with lived vision impairment.
• Request up to the maximum (£30,000) for 12‑36 months, but ensure your budget is realistic and aligned to digital inclusion outcomes.
