The Kristina Martin Charitable Trust is a UK grant‑making charity established in memory of Kristina Martin and awards grants to UK‑registered charities whose work supports mental health, wellbeing, grief, suicide prevention and the prevention of online bullying.
For the 2025 funding round the Trust has four key themes: (1) Breaking the link between homelessness and poor mental health. (2) Reducing the effects of social media on mental health. (3) Reducing social isolation through community hubs and support activities. (4) Improving mental health outcomes for children and young people via early identification, training and support.
Eligible applicants must be UK‑registered charities with clear charitable purposes, and a board of unrelated trustees. The Trust prefers smaller organisations.
Deadlines
The 2025 deadline for applications across all four themes is 12 December 2025.
Application process
Applicants complete an online application form in one session (there is no ‘save for later’). They must answer eligibility questions, provide details of project, beneficiaries, measurable outcomes, grant amount sought and how impact will be shared across the sector. The Trust reviews submissions and will invite further information or decisions.
Any specific tips to apply
• Ensure your project aligns strongly with one of the four themes listed.
• Demonstrate clear, measurable impact (number of people reached, outcomes achieved) and how your learning will be shared.
• Request an amount that is realistic (in recent rounds many grants have been around £10,000).
• Have good governance, financial stability and evidence of need.
• Prepare your responses in advance—since the form cannot be saved mid‑way.
