The Peter Kershaw Trust provides annual grants to support charitable projects under the broad theme of social welfare.

Who Can Apply?

• Registered charities operating in Greater Manchester.

• Annual income below £1 million.

What’s Funded?

• Projects supporting individuals with medical conditions, disabilities, addictions, the elderly, and youth work.

• Both new initiatives and existing services are eligible.

• Pump-priming (start-up) funding is welcomed.

Grant Amounts

• No fixed maximum, but the average grant is around £2,500

Key Dates

• Application deadline: 31 March each year.

• Decisions made: May.

• Funds disbursed: June.

• Only one application window per year.
