UK Aid Direct

UK Aid Direct is a competitive challenge for small and medium-sized UK and international Civil Society Organisations working in the health sector to reduce poverty. The first funding round will focus on finishing the job on the Health Millennium Development Goals (MDGs 4, 5 & 6 – Reduce child mortality, improve maternal health and combat HIV/Aids) and welcomes applications with a specific focus on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.

UK Aid Direct is open for applications. The deadline for the submission of Concept Note applications is 23:59 GMT on 21st November 2014.

There are 2 Grants available

*Community Partnerships grants of up to £250,000. Small UK-based non-profit organisations can apply if they have an annual income of less than £1,000,000 a year for the last 3 years.

*Impact grants of between £250,000 and £4,000,000. Medium-sized non-profit organisations based in the UK or in one of DFID’s priority countries (where they must be locally registered) can apply. They must be able to raise at least 25% match funding in order to be eligible.
