National Churches Trust – Repair Grants

The National Churches Trust was formed in June 2007 after extensive consultation with donors, grant recipients, the Charity Commission and other sector organisations, to fund, protect and support the built heritage of 47,000 churches, chapels and meeting houses throughout the UK.

Funding is available for urgent and essential structural repair projects to churches, chapels and meeting houses that are open for regular public worship in the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands. Applications will be considered from both listed and unlisted Christian places of worship.

Grants for £10,000 and above are available towards major repair projects with estimated costs of at least £100,000 (including VAT and fees). A number of grants of £40,000 and above are also available.
