The grants  reflect thier interest in wellbeing and excellence. Funding is in three categories,  allocated broadly as follows:

Arts 25%

Environment 25% – contribute to greater harmony between people and the planet. We fund in two areas: managing habitats and protecting the seas.

Welfare 50% – people facing poverty, hardship and other forms of disadvantage. It aims to help them lead fuller, more independent lives. We fund in two areas:

• realising individual potential
• strengthening personal and social networks

To apply groups must have an income over £100,000 and be doing work that has a national footprint
