Emergency Grants for BAME Communities – Small Grants (Greater Manchester)

The GM BAME Network, supported by GMCVO, are launching a second stage of the emergency grants programme to support small GM BAME led VCSE organisations and communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Stage two will be launched on 1st September and will close on Tuesday 13th October noon. A competitive small grants programme awarding grants of £1000-£3000 to organisations with an income of under £30,000.

The first stage, a rolling micro grants programme, is still live until 31st October and awards grants of £50-£1000 (for organisations with an income of under £10,000) on an ongoing basis. Decisions are made within 3 weeks.

The grants are funded by Comic Relief and the National Emergency Fund in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The grants will fund new activities and services as well as the additional costs of adapting existing services due to COVID-19. The grants will also help counter the loss of fundraising income directly caused by the pandemic.

An online information and support event is being held on 1st September to help small organisations apply. To register for this event, click here.
